AUGS Virtual Fly-In Advocacy Day
May 14, 2026 in conjunction with Women’s Health Week

Join us for AUGS’ Virtual Fly-In Advocacy Day—an opportunity for members to come together during Women’s Health Week and raise our collective voice on behalf of our subspecialty and the patients we serve.

This virtual advocacy event is open to all AUGS members, regardless of prior advocacy experience.

What we’ll be advocating for:
AUGS’ federal advocacy priorities focus on protecting and advancing our subspecialty, improving access to care for patients with pelvic floor disorders, and strengthening research and reimbursement that supports high-quality urogynecologic care. You can review our current priorities here:

How it works:

• Participate virtually from anywhere

• Choose the timeframe that works best for you on May 14^th:

  • Morning session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET

  • Afternoon session: 12:00 – 5:00 PM ET

  • Or attend both

• Meet with congressional staff in small groups (typically 20-30-minute times slots)

• Training, talking points, and prep materials will be provided in advance—no Hill experience required

  • Virtual Training Session: Monday, May 4^th 8:00 pm – 8:45 pm ET

  • You will receive zoom links for the virtual training session and congressional meetings closer to the event

Whether you’re new to advocacy or a seasoned voice, this is a meaningful way to help elevate awareness of pelvic floor disorders, protect our subspecialty, and ensure policymakers understand the importance of urogynecologic care.
